Local Activities

Goldfest runs through October in and around Waihi featuring events and activities for all ages, from the young to the young at heart. ONE of the popular events taking place is the Trolley Derby and Skateboard Competition.

The Trolley Derby and Skateboard Comp are free, fun for boys, girls, men and women, and whether you’ve done it before or not doesn’t matter. Give it a go, I bet you love it. Rules and guidelines are on the entry forms located on the Go Waihi website.
